To help the Supreme Court of Latvia compete with other legal career opportunities, the films focused on people behind the professions.

Each video follows three employees, creating a sense of their path to the profession, their daily work at the court and what motivates them in their roles. The approach challenges stereotypes and informs the public.

In the process, five hours of one-on-one interviews with seven employees were conducted. Transcripts were then transformed into two four-minute scripts for B-rolls and voiceover.

Senator Assistant

At the Supreme Court of Latvia, Senator Assistants play a pivotal role in ensuring that justice is delivered with care and precision. This video explores how they review case materials, prepare draft judgments, and work side by side with senators to identify the most just solutions in complex legal matters. Through analytical rigor, independence, and a strong sense of responsibility, they contribute meaningfully to the fair resolution of cases and to the development of Latvian law.

Judicial Adviser

At the Supreme Court of Latvia, the work of the Senate extends far beyond the courtroom. This video highlights the role of the Judicial Advisers — legal experts who conduct in-depth research, draft complex judgments, and provide intellectual support in the most challenging cases. Working at the intersection of scholarship and practice, they help ensure that each decision is grounded in rigorous analysis and contributes to the strengthening of the rule of law in Latvia.
